The server uses a simple chat system where you can communicate with everyone playing. You can type messages in the chat bar to talk with all players or use commands to send private messages. Even better, the chat is connected to our community Discord server, so your messages show up for Discord users and theirs show up in-game. This means you can stay in touch with friends even if they’re not playing Minecraft at the moment.

Can I chat with players even if I’m not in Minecraft?

Yes! Chat is linked to our Discord server so you can talk to players from outside the game. You need the Minecraft Chat perk from the Store or /perks. You'll also have to make sure you do /link in game to connect your Discord account to your Minecraft account, then you can chat away!

What if someone is saying things I don't like?

You can always report them on Discord or do /ignore <playername> so that you won't see their messages.

Help, sometimes I say things and they get changed in chat!

Don't worry, you're not possessed! Our chat filter can block some words, but there are some that get changed instead of blocked. For example, if you say "lag" in game, it changes it to "cupcakes".

Why? That's a long story...
